Brisbane: – Capital of Queensland, home to almost 2 million people, is somewhat similar to other capital cities of the world -– highrise buildings, traffic jams, everyone in a hurry to go somewhere. But Queenslanders are a fairly relaxed lot at heart, to the North we have the Sunshine Coast beaches, to the South – - Gold Coast beaches, to the West – - small mountain ranges, and to the East -– Moreton Bay, a boaters paradise, dotted with small islands. Images are from Brisbane, and surrounding areas.
