The Photographer

Rick Lodge was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1946, and migrated to Australia in 1968. His love of photography, coupled with a desire for travel, to often remote, and sometimes dangerous locations, combined to fulfill a passion almost unmatched in any other field. He graduated from Queensland College of Art with an Assoc.Dip.Photo. coupled with many high achievements, and a Press Award for his work. With publications in leading national sports magazines and travel magazines, and an exhibition sponsored by Kodak, his current main photographic interest is in landscape photography, and people within a landscape, as some of these photos reveal. He currently lives in Brisbane, Australia, with wife Fiona and stepson Alexander.
